When considering Denver CO real estate, you may want to consider Denver Highlands.  Denver Highlands is not to be confused with Highlands Ranch which is further South.  Though I am familiar with both areas and can help you either way.  If you want to search Highlands Ranch real estate, the search above will work for that as well.

Diverse Architecture & Contemporary Style Homes:

The Denver Highlands area is one of the Denver area's most obviously diverse architecturally. In the Highlands area of Denver, Colorado you will find an unusual mix of highly contemporary homes, mixed in with Victorian and bungalows. If contemporary style is your flair, this is an area nearby to Sloans lake that has a decent variety of places to choose from.  If you are looking to get the most new construction and contemporary styles available with duplex versions and many with rooftop decks.  Those with rooftop decks may have views of the mountains or views of the downtown Denver skyline...or both.

Where is The Highlands?:

You will find the Highlands Real Estate in an area from about 38th avenue on the northern side, Speer blvd and or 26th Ave to the south, Sheridan to the west or Inca on the eastern side.  The nearby proximity of The Highlands to downtown Denver is the best part.  It is close if you work there or if you want to go to a nearby Nuggets or Avalanche game it works great for that too.
