Evergreen is West of Denver in the forested mountain foothills.  Still, you can commute to Denver:Evergreen Colorado is an incredible mountain community just west of Denver off of Interstate 70 that is the main thoroughfare to Colorado ski resorts and beautiful mountain towns.  Evergreen CO is a drive of around 30 minutes from the Denver Downtown area and just over an hour drive to the Denver International Airport.  Evergreen boasts properties nestled into beautifully forested mountain areas while still being relatively close to Denver.  Many residents of Evergreen commute to work in and around Denver.

Evergreen CO homes for sale include Colorado luxury homes in the area can range well over $3 Million Dollars for the more elite, but homes for sale in Evergreen Colorado can be much more affordable as well. Homes in Evergreen CO come in a variety of architectural styles. Mountain contemporary, Old World, Contemporary and Mediterranean styled homes can be found in Evergreen.  Many Evergreen homes for sale use local stone and timber which give the home that mountain chalet feel and typically acceptable because it can fit well into the surroundings.

Evergreen, CO: Close to outdoor mountain activities:

Access to the mountains for golfing skiing, hiking, fishing, boating, is great since Interstate 70 Westbound is close by.  For people wanting easy access to the mountains, but want to work in Denver, Evergreen is a great location.

Evergreen is not for everyone.  Evergreen CO feeling costly or too far?:

Costly or too far from Denver, then what options are there to live a little closer and have other options for pricing.  Just east of Evergreen, slightly closer to Denver is Golden Colorado which may be an alternative if Evergreen homes seem as though it is too far from Denver for you.   Also closer into Denver is Arvada, Westminster, Ken Caryl, Lakewood to mention a few, but none will have the mountain feel of Evergreen.
