Sedalia is a spectacular area near Castle Rock, CO.  Sedalia has beautiful vistas and acreage properties.  Properties in Sedalia have large trees or sprawling acreage with wide mountain foothills views and an abundance of wildlife.

Sedalia Properties:

Homes in Sedalia can range from the affordable to high cost luxury homes.  Sedailia is not where typical subdivisions are located though when they exist they are generally high end on acreage.  If you want to have a ranch to have horses and yet be close enough to commute to Denver, you may want to look at properties in Sedalia.  It is a small town near Castle Rock / Castle Pines Village to the South/East while you will find Highlands Ranch and Littleton to the North.  Highway 85 goes directly through Sedalia. 

How do I get to Sedalia and what if I am hungry?:

Highway 85 "Santa Fe" runs directly along side of Sedalia.  From the north, take C470 to Highway 85 and go south to Sedalia.  if you are going there from the South, then go to Castle Rock, get on Highway 85 North and take that directly to Sedalia.

The town itself is smaller than most towns around and there are a few significant venues in the town.  Likely the most recognized restaurant is Bud's Bar and Grill.  It is the kind of place where locals gather with those that are passers by.  The hamburgers and cheesburgers are the most important draw in this town and they are likely some of the best I have ever had.  Do not ask for french fries, they do not have them and likely never will.  They serve chips and focus on the quality of the burgers.  People drive large distances to go to Bud's to enjoy a burger. 

If you are looking for a more sophisticated dining experience, be sure to try Gabriel's Restaurant directly accross the street from Bud's.  Gabriels is some of the best northern italian food you will ever have as well.  One of my favorites is beef marsala...yum!  Trust me, it is great!

Quiet, peaceful, close to Denver with HUGE views!:
